What are KOA scrubs made of?
72% polyester, 21% rayon and 7% spandex. It is a four-way stretch fabric, which means it moves in every direction you do and returns to shape rather than bagging out at the knee. The blend has not changed since 2021.
Do KOA scrubs shrink in the wash?
They are made to survive clinic laundry. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low, no fabric softener, and no ironing needed. Canadian clinics have been washing the same garments for five years, which is the wash test that matters more than any lab number.
Do KOA scrubs run true to size?
Yes. The One Pocket Top is true to size and softly tailored rather than boxy - if you are between sizes, take your usual. The High Rise Jogger sits better if you size up when you are between sizes. Sizes run XS to XL, and there is a full size chart with bust, waist, hip and length measurements on the size guide.
What is the difference between Regular and Petite lengths?
The High Rise Jogger comes in two lengths: Regular has a 29-inch inseam and Petite has a 27-inch inseam, so there are two inches between them. Pick by height and by where you want the cuff to sit on the ankle.
How long does delivery take?
Orders ship from Calgary, usually within two business days, and most arrive within 3 to 5 business days.
How much is shipping, and do you ship to the United States?
Shipping is complimentary on orders over $105, in Canada and the United States. Under $105 it is calculated at checkout. Everything ships from Calgary. Duties and taxes on cross-border orders are not included.
Can I return scrubs if they do not fit?
Yes - complimentary returns within 30 days, unworn and with tags on. Email info@koaheroes.ca and we will send a label. The one exception is embroidered garments: those are made to order, so we confirm your spelling and placement before anything is stitched and they cannot be returned.
How many pockets do the joggers have?
The High Rise Jogger has 5 functional pockets, including one zippered pocket for the things you cannot afford to drop. The One Pocket Top has a chest pocket sized for a pen and a badge.
What happens if my size or colour is sold out?
The product page will say the colour is between shifts, and you can leave your email on that page. We will email you when that colour is back. We do not promise a restock date we cannot keep.
Is KOA a Canadian company?
KOA Health Heroes is Canadian-owned and has been run from Calgary, Alberta since 2020. Garments are manufactured overseas to KOA's own specification and ship from Calgary. Canadian clinics have re-ordered every year since 2021.
Do you run sales or discount codes?
No. The price on the garment is the price, every day - no strikethroughs, no countdown clocks, no code waiting in a popup. The only exception is team pricing for clinics, which is a standing service rather than a promotion.
Do you offer pricing for clinics and teams?
Yes. Team pricing starts at 5 sets and improves again at 10, clinic logo embroidery is $20 per garment and done locally, and we keep your size sheet on file so a re-order takes one email. Full details are on the Clinics and Teams page.
